painter, was in Melbourne when he painted The Studley Punt, Yarra River, near Melbourne 1850; The Wharf, Melbourne, from the Customs House and other views of the city (all c. 1854, La Trobe Library). He may be the Mr Boyd who painted scenery for the Queen’s Theatre, Melbourne, in 1845.
