John Graham Boyd was a painter active in 1850s Melbourne. There is some speculation he may be the Mr Boyd who painted scenery for Melbourne's Queen Theatre in 1845. His paintings of city views are help in the La Trobe Library collection at the State Library of Victoria.
painter, was in Melbourne when he painted The Studley Punt, Yarra River, near Melbourne 1850;The Wharf, Melbourne, from the Customs House and other views of the city (all c. 1854, La Trobe Library). He may be the Mr Boyd who painted scenery for the Queen’s Theatre, Melbourne, in 1845.
