John Rodriquez b. 1928

Rodriquez is a noted textile designer and manufacturer with training at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. He was awarded the Society of Interior Designers of Australia "Good Design: award in November 1954. His design work was exhibited in the 1956 Arts Festival accompanying the Olympics in Melbourne. From a base in Victoria, he began manufacturing in 1957, later expanding to two factories by 1972.
