Joyce Brown

Brown was an interior designer, manager of the "Contemporary Shop", Anthony Hordern Dept Store, Sydney. By 1960, Hordern had established an in-store "Design Centre" selling Fler and Grant Featherston furniture. Brown was also a broadcaster on design on 2BL ABC Radio, winner of 1952 Good Design Award for furniture design from Society of Interior Designers of Australia. She studied at the Sydney Technical College.
