Grant is an industrial designer with studies at the Royal College of Art, London, Illinois Institute of Technology, USA. He designed work for Expo '67 Montreal, Toyo Kogia, Davis Furniture NY. He is the principal Kjell Grant Design, Melbourne and has produced furniture for Innerspace and others. A designer lecturer at RMIT, Melbourne.
