Evatt began her interior design career at Studio 12, Manuka ACT working with Heather Paral. After extensive travel, she was Chief Designer at Artes Studio, Sydney, later practising as Lyndal Evatt Interiors, Cremorne NSW. She studied at the Canberra Technical College under Scorgie Anderson.
