Was an early Australian abstract painter. She spent most of her life in Britain then in France, where she died. She is virtually unknown in Australia, although John McDonald included two of her paintings in his National Gallery of Australia 2001 'Federation’ show and David Prestorius (Brisbane) has done lots of work on her.
