Michael J Dillon was an art student in Bendigo Technical College in Victoria, Australia.

He joined Wedgwood in 1965 and was allowed to pursue his own sculpting style, creating Oriental-inspired shapes, abstract clay designs and special glazes. Most of his work is characterized by a pinched top.

1971 – He threw stoneware goblets, to be decorated by Mirka Mora.

Known to be residing in Australia 2015.
