Michael Simcoe b. 1961

Simcoe trained at RMIT Melbourne, worked at Toyota from 1986-1988. He was General Motors Holden Executive Director Global Design GMIO, based in Port Melbourne. He and the GM Design studio led the team that developed the Buick Avenir limousine and the Chevrolet Volt electric car. He joined Holden as a designer in 1983, later senior designer, then becoming a design director in 2013.
