with Miss Greig , the two were art students who exhibited work in Launceston in 1885 as pupils of Monsieur Maurice . The Examiner (18 December 1885) remarked that Mrs and Miss Greig displayed 'striking exhibits’, especially crayons – studied from objects in the round 'which show that their teacher does not pin his entire faith to copies.’
