Nancy Sayer b. 1909

Sayer competed in various art competitions as a schoolgirl, trained as a kindergarten teacher and began painting in 1959, joining the Society of Realist Arts in Sydney. Returning to Perth, she exhibited at the Hovea Gallery in 1963 and began lessons with Henry Froudhist. Later she moved to South Australia where she continued her career until she lost her sight ca.1997.
