Flood trained as an artist and worked with Alan Caiger-Smith UK, Royal Delft Pottery Netherlands, David Boyd & John Perceval. Returned to Australia ca.1962 and has exhibited thrown functional wares & sculpture. He also had an extensive career as an educator. Elected as President: Victorian Ceramic Group, 1973.
