Painter, sketcher, architect and collector, lived in a terrific Federation style house he designed himself in Ashfield, Sydney, which included decorations such as a terra-cotta lyrebird by Lucien Henry , another teacher at the Sydney Technical College (now University of Technology Sydney). Books and collections of prints in Fisher Library and Architecture Library, University of Sydney, as well as, apparently, stained glass windows at the same University.
