A Federation-era Sydney cartoonist and sketcher, Olive Vernon was a member of NSW Government Architect Walter Liberty Vernon's family. Her sketches are held in the Mitchell Library at the State Library of New South Wales.

Was a relative of NSW Government Architect Walter Liberty Vernon. The Vernon family sketchbooks and photographs (Mitchell Library PXA 876, ON 226) include one by Olive dated 1894-96 containing cartoons and comic drawings (vol. 10).
