Esteemed Australian ceramicist whose works are often inspired by the Japanese aesthetic. He ran Sturt Pottery in Mittagong between 2001 and 2008.

Paul Davis, ceramicist, ran Sturt Pottery at Mittagong, NSW, from 2001 to 2008. During that time he worked collaboratively with Jacqueline Clayton, with whom he shares an interest in Japanese culture. In 2005 the pair formed the tableware company Press to play.

In 2007 Davis’ and Clayton’s work was included in the Powerhouse Museum exhibition 'Smart works: design and the handmade’.
