Philip Edward Irving b. 1 January 1903

Irving was a designer specialising in motorcycles after study at Melbourne Technical College. He was resident in Britain working on Vincent and Veloce motorcycles and returned to Australia in 1949. He joined REPCO in 1954 as an engineer and designer. He also published in the field, notably "Tuning for Speed" in 1948.
