Know My Name is an exhibition in two parts at the National Gallery of Australia. It is the largest and most comprehensive exhibition of work by women, presented in a thematic rather than chronological form. It reveals relationships between the present and the past, relationships between artists, and common concerns.
Hobart City Gallery; Warnambool Art Gallery; Shepparton Art Gallery; Albury Art Gallery. Sponsored by Murdoch Barclay Picture Framers, NETS Victoria, Gordon Darling Foundation. This exhibition is the first to focus on the breadth of Ponch Hawkes photographic works from the 1970s to the late 1990s. Fifty works were included.
