Ralf Rauker is a performance artist based in Perth. He studied acting in Berlin and has worked as an actor and director in Europe. Since 2003 he has been employed as a lecturer and course coordinator in contemporary performance at the Edith Cowan University in Perth. In 2007 he collaborated with Berlin video artist Merit Fakler to perform 'Performing Hearts Solo’ on a bench outside the Art Gallery of Western Australia during the Biennale of Electronic Arts Perth (BEAP). This work was dedicated to the German political playwright and poet Bertold Brecht.
