Ralph Malcolm Warner b. 1 January 1902

Warner studied commercial art at Geelong, Melbourne and Sydney later working as an advertising artist and illustrator, printmaker and watercolourist. During the 1939-45 War he worked as a camouflage artist and later as an official war artist. Postwar, he returned to his graphic arts career executing posters, stamps and other works. The Australian War Memorial, Canberra, holds an extensive collection of his work.
