Gould was an artist and illustrator. He was listed as an exhibitor at the Australian Commercial and Industrial Artists Association show at AWA Bldg, Sydney in the Sydney Morning Herald, 12 December 1940. He may have been involved/associated with the camouflage unit of the Australian military forces during the 1939-45 war.
