Thea Lucas

  • Designer
Lucas is identified as a principal in a "modern furnishing and home decorating studio" in Melbourne co-directed by Joan Thomson. Lucas studied at Melbourne University and was described as an "expert needlewoman". She was also a major figure in the anti-censorship movement with addresses and articles in the press. (see "Against Censorship", Red Page, The Bulletin, 7 August 1935, p.2, 4)
