Tom O’Hern, a Hoabart-based artist specialising in drawing and painting, was born in 1985. O’Hern recieved a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours from the University of Tasmania, School of Art, in 2006. He has participated in a number of solo and group exhibitions, including, 'Holy Hell’ (2011) and 'Dog Boy’ (2010) at Bett Gallery, Hobart; 'Sup Brow’ (2012), Gallery One Three, Melbourne; and 'Primavera’ (2011) at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney. O’Hern has held residencies at the Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris, France (2012); He Shun International Art Festival, Shan Xi, China (2011); and at Contemporary Art Spaces Tasmania (CAST), Hobart (2010).
