Founded in 1913, the Castlemaine Art Museum (previously named Castlemaine Art Gallery and Historical Museum) has a unique collection of exclusively Australian art and fascinating historical artefacts reflecting the early history of the district.
Forming the foundation of the Martin Grant exhibition are works from the generous donation of 217 works by the designer in 2023. The gift comprises designs spanning the early 1990s, when he established his eponymous label in Paris, through to his recent and acclaimed autumn-winter 2019 collection. [...] the gift also includes a large gift of archival material; press clippings, runway footage, sketches and photographs.(NGV)
