Architect and designer who arrived in Western Australia from England in 1905. He practised in Busselton and Bunbury during 1908-10. Cohen’s architecture was distinctive and he designed furniture in the Arts and Crafts manner to be built into the homes he designed in the 1930s.
Cohen belonged to the West Australian Society of Arts and exhibited “a series of small and delicate coloured drawings, the subjects being in the main, French and Belgium city glimpses” with the Society in 1920. In 1922 he exhibited watercolours under his own name and as Eales & Cohen he showed architectural drawings of proposed war memorials, clock towers, churches and homesteads.
