Sculptor and installation artist, Janet Laurence is probably best known for her site-specific architectural collaborations including 'Edge of the Trees' with Fiona Foley for the Museum of Sydney and the Australian War Memorial for London's Hyde Park. A former trustee of the Art Gallery of New South Wales, in 2006 Laurence was awarded a Churchill Fellowship and in 2008 was undertaking a PhD in Architecture at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
