Russell Anderson is an artist and designer whose work focusses on large and small scale whimsical kinetic sculpture. He holds a Master of Fine Art, Visual Arts (1998) from Queensland University of Technology.

Installation

This installation features a 1950s style toy town modelled on Brisbane city. The town is to be installed below the bus platform at the Royal Brisbane Hospital bus station and features mechanical tin buses activated by pedestian movement. Pedestrains can view the work either by looking through portholes in the pavement, or on an lcd screen showing realtime bus cam footage.
