David Carson is a 3D video artist based in Fremantle, Western Australia. He has collaborated with Brian McClave (3-D video artist) and George Millward (atmospheric physicist and experimental electronic musician), both based in the UK, on two 3D video installations. The first of these, titled 'Geo-derma’, was completed in 1998. Following its premier at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts during the 1998 Festival of Perth, 'Geo-derma’ toured widely, including to the Museum of the Future in Loughborough, UK. The second collaborative 3D video installation project, 'Skylab’, was completed in 2002 and shown at the 'Immersion’ exhibition during the 2002 Biennale of Electronic Arts Perth.
