Douglas Cowell

Cowell was the supervisor of the interior design department of Bebarfalds. In the 1930s, the furniture department provided interior sketch plans & ground plans for interiors. They also published a residential design book, "Safe Home Planning" in 1927, produced a "Colour Ensemble Furnishing Chart" and hosted a household advice 2KY radio programme. In 1938, the designer established a new decorating firm Bear & Co., Sydney.
